Experience the soft heat of Labbnäs’ traditional wood fire heated sauna!
Our big sauna has space for up to 20 persons and is one of the largest saunas in the area. The sauna includes two dressing rooms, toilets, an open fireplace and a complete kitchen. The sauna cottage was renovated in 2019. Outdoors there is a spacy terrace and a few steps from the sauna door a jetty where you can go swimming in the beautiful lake Dragsfjärden.
During winter season we arrange winter swimming saunas each week. A place for swimming is kept free from ice throughout the winter. If you want to rent the sauna for a private group, this is also possible, and using the swimming facilities is included.
Monday – Thursday: 3 hours, 100 euro + 6 euro/person (minimum price 60 euro)
Friday – Sunday: 3 hours, 150 euro + 6 euro/person (minimum price 60 euro)
At Labbnäs Vacation Home, there is a cozy beach sauna that can be rented during summertime (May to August). The sauna is old but renovated.
The sauna was built while Labbnäs still acted as the rectory for the neighbourhood. Labbnäs’ history as a rectory started in the 17th centry and went on until the 1950s. Exactly when the sauna was built noone knows.
The sauna is situated by the beautiful beach of the lake Dragsfjärden. It has running water, a heated water pot and an open fireplace in the sauna chamber. Swimming is possible at the sauna’s own jetty and the outdoor sitting group is a nice place to enjoy the surroundings.

Welcome
When the new sauna was finished in 2000, one of our cooks came up with the idea that winter swimming should be held at Labbnäs. Since then a brave and happy team of winter swimmers gather to enjoy the wooden fired sauna and a refreshing dip in the ice-cold water. Everybody who is interested are welcomed to join!
The ice hole is held open through the winter and is also available for groups that have hired the sauna.
